MEMBERS FOR 2010 TO
FOREST HILLS PONY CLUB
 Welcome to all our new members for 2010 and Welcome back to all our rejoining members. We have a jam packed program for this year covering Dressage, Equitation Jumping, Show Jumping, Eventing, Sporting, Polocrosse, Mounted Games and Showriding. There will be horsemanship lectures, Certificate work, Social events and a Pony Club Camp. Pretty much something for everyone and every level! For our parents - we plan to invite you into all the lectures - you will be amazed at how much you can learn (and what a great strapper you will make)
 Our books are still open for new members and we will be having a Registration Day and Boot Sale of second hand horsey goods on Saturday 30th January. This will run from 3pm until 5pm with a BBQ sausage sizzle. The FHPC Clothing shop will be open on this day for purchasing of new uniforms.
We have been running some sporting and jumping training days since the beginning of January. It has been great to see many of our members for 2010 take advantage of this summer training. We will be holding a Twilight Equitation Competition on 29th January to give you all a chance to show what you have learnt.
 Try to check this website regularly as it is one of our main forms of communication. Information about competitions, draws for competitions, applications for schools and knowledge articles are published on this site. Check the document section of the website to download these as hard copy.

HOLIDAY TRAINING
Please make sure you have REJOINED and signed the Risk Waiver BEFORE attending these days!
Our last training for the holidays will be Equitation training on 27th January at 5pm.
The Twilight Equitation Competition will be run on 29th January starting at 4pm. 75cm, 85cm, 90cm amd 95cm classes are expected to plait. You will lose a mark in presentation if you do not. There will be a BBQ on the night and the canteen will be open. There is a flyer in the document part of the website.
There will be Sporting, Polocrosse and Jumping practice on the 30th January . This is the Registration, New members and Boot Sale day. Starting at 3pm with a sausage sizzle.

BOOT SALE

30th January. 3pm until 5pm
Boot Sale: $10 per car boot. Bring up all your "outgrown" horse gear, jumping vests etc etc. Fundraising for the new FHPC Clubhouse. There will be a sausage sizzle tpo top it off!.
Registration: Come along and have a look at what Forest Hills Pony Club has to offer. With sensational grounds and an enthusiastic and energetic group of parents running the club, Forest Hills gives their members opportunities to explore an extensive range of horse pursuits. We cover Horsemanship, Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Showriding, Polocrosse, Sporting, Mounted Games and offer some fantastic Social events including a club camp. Come and meet us - we look forward to seeing you!
New Members: If you have not seen Lee-Ann during the holidays at the Training session, she will need to "meet and greet" you and your pony to Pony Club on this day between 3pm and 5pm. If you are unsure whether you need to be here, drop her an email! The Clothing shop will also be open at this time to get any uniform items you need

Polocrosse
Training 2010
Greg Nixon is offering Polocrosse Training again this year beginning in February. It will be broken into a beginner and advanced group with some of the Advanced group assisting the 'newcomers'. Polocrosse is a great team sport and great fun. We will be having a Polocrosse Closed Competition at Forest Hills Pony Club this year with Beginners on foot, Intermediate at walk and trot only and Advanced doing it all. Come along and learn about this great game and you WILL have fun!
